® A Day in the Life: We meet again

In the earlier years as a dealer wrench, I worked in a big L.A. area shop that had several techs. We all got along well, except for one guy at the end of the row that seemed to want to challenge everyone to fight, always making insulting remarks, etc. Beligerent, chip-on-the-shoulder deal. You know. Avoid him, ignore him. Well, it wasn't pleasant, but it was just one of those things that had to be endured. Now, fast forward about 40 years. My wife and I live in a different state. And after moving our business to a new area, we start attending a church in that area. And to my surprise, you guessed it -- there that guy is. Back of the church, same thick-necked, the-world-owes-me-a-living smirk. But something is different. Now God has got hold of his heart, humbled him, taught him, quieted him. God's grace, folks. And His sense of humor!
